Want to help bring The Martin Chronicles to life? Here's how it works right now.
These are volunteer roles
The Martin Chronicles is a free fan project. Right now, every role is volunteer and unpaid. Contributors receive credit, not payment.
This isn't a job listing, so please don't apply expecting paid work. When a paid project becomes possible, it will be posted on this page with the rate listed up front.
How volunteering works
- You choose what you work on and how much time you give. There are no required hours.
- You're credited by name or handle wherever your work appears.
- Before you start, we both sign a short agreement covering credit and how your work can be used.
- You can step away at any time.
- Team members need to be 18 or older.
Ways to help
- Beta reading
Read chapters before they're published and flag typos, plot holes, and confusing moments.
- Art
Character art, covers, and illustrations for the books and social posts.
- Voice
Voice acting for audio samples and, later, audiobook chapters.
- Audio editing
Cleaning up and mixing recorded voice work.
- Storyboards
Early storyboards and animatics for a short animated proof of concept.
- Moderation
Helping keep the Discord welcoming and organized.
Paid roles
No paid roles are open right now.
When funding allows, paid freelance work will be listed here with the rate up front.
